As Apple’s Wonderlust event on September 12 draws closer, leaks about the iPhone 15 series continue to pour in. The new models, which will include some changes in design, have finally emerged in the factory. Images allegedly coming from Apple’s manufacturing partner revealed the iPhone 15 Pro design.
iPhone 15 Pro revealed in new color and retailer box
Photos purportedly showing the iPhone 15 Pro and its box quickly made waves on social media. It was stated that the photos came from Foxconn, Apple’s largest manufacturing partner in India. The leak revealed the camera and screen design of the device.
The images confirm some of the design changes rumored to come with the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The devices are seen in two different color options – gray and navy blue – and highlight the nearly bezel-less display with a pill-shaped camera and sensor section.
The smartphone’s box also appears to have been redesigned. Unlike previous years, it features only the screen instead of the front and back images of the device. The simplified white box includes the device as well as a braided USB-C to Lightning cable.
In addition, there are also claims that there may be some delays in the Pro Max model. Manufacturers reportedly failed to fulfill Apple’s requests and mass production started late. Accordingly, it was said that the phone could come to the shelf in November-December.
Among the features known so far, the iPhone 15 series will be powered by the A17 chip produced with 3nm architecture. It will also be available with up to 1TB of storage and a 48 Megapixel main camera. In contrast, pricing is expected to increase by $200 and reach $1200.
