Casio’s latest G-Shock collaboration is stepping beyond the UK. After its initial debut earlier this month, the G-Shock x Bamford GM-5600BWD-1 is now confirmed for release in more European markets and yes, that slick black-and-blue look is making the trip.
GM-5600BWD-1 lands in more EU countries

First launched in the UK on December 9 for £279, the GM-5600BWD-1 now appears on Casio’s official EU store for countries like Germany and the Netherlands. The EU price is set at €279, and availability will be exclusive to Casio ID members. Users interested in grabbing one will need to sign up on Casio’s website to get notified when it drops.
Signature Bamford design with classic G-Shock durability
This is the third official G-Shock x Bamford Watch Department release, and it’s built on the iconic GM-5600 platform. The style leans heavy on contrast with black dominating the bezel, casing, strap, and screen background while bright blue accents punch through on the text and around the display.
Dimensions measure in at 49.6 x 43.2 x 12.9 mm, and the watch keeps things lightweight with a resin strap paired to a steel ion-plated bezel.
Key features of the G-Shock x Bamford GM-5600
Here’s what it packs:
- Multi-function alarm with flash alerts
- 1/100th-second stopwatch (split time, elapsed time)
- Countdown timer
- Hourly time signal
- 200m water resistance
- White LED backlight
- 12/24-hour time formats
- Five-year battery life
Despite the retro-cool aesthetic, this digital timepiece is built to handle daily wear with serious G-Shock resilience.
US availability still uncertain
Casio hasn’t said if or when the GM-5600BWD-1 will head to the US. For now, it remains a Europe-focused release, with limited access and registration-only sales. Whether you’re a G-Shock collector or just into statement pieces, this one’s likely to disappear fast.
Sharp lines, limited time
The GM-5600BWD-1 doesn’t scream for attention it sharpens it. This is classic G-Shock, filtered through Bamford’s minimalist lens, and wrapped in a palette that hits just right. Don’t blink, though. These tend to vanish before the second hand loops back around.
