As the countdown continues for FC 26, eagerly awaited by football fans and the gaming world, a development has emerged that has excited football enthusiasts in Turkey. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, partner clubs of the game’s developer, EA Sports, shared images of the facial scanning processes of their star players on their official social media accounts. This development reveals that the Süper Lig stars will feature ultra-realistic models in the game.
FC 26 Will Be Unrivaled with Realistic Faces
EA Sports is integrating players from its long-standing partner clubs into the game using specialized facial scanning technology. This process allows players’ facial features, facial expressions, and even the most minute details to be accurately digitally captured. Playing with realistic replicas of players, rather than post-edited or generic faces, significantly enhances the game’s atmosphere and immersion.
As FC 26, which recently completed its closed beta, approaches its release date, fans’ anticipation has been soaring with the near-simultaneous releases from both Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. The videos show players’ faces being scanned using a specialized camera system. This move by the clubs, which had previously announced that their stadiums would also be scanned, demonstrates the level of detail their partnership with EA Sports will bring to the game.
Beşiktaş, along with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, is among EA’s partners in Turkey. While the Black and Whites haven’t yet shared a video of their face scans, it’s almost certain that Beşiktaş’s players will undergo the same process and feature realistic faces in the game, as per the partnership agreement. Fans can expect a similar release from Beşiktaş soon.
