The countdown for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy A36 has officially begun. The model is expected to target the mid-range segment with features that appeal to users while maintaining an affordable price. Most recently, the smartphone appeared in performance tests.
Samsung Galaxy A36 Spotted on Geekbench
The Samsung Galaxy A36, with the model number SM-A366U, has been spotted in the Geekbench database. The smartphone achieved a score of 1,021 in single-core tests and 2,973 in multi-core tests, indirectly revealing some of its specifications.
A closer look at the Geekbench database reveals that the model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Additionally, it will come with 6 GB of RAM and run Android 15 right out of the box. It’s worth noting that there could be additional memory configurations available.
Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A35, which was launched in March, the Galaxy A36 is likely to feature a 50 MP main camera. However, the most significant upgrade is expected to be in the selfie camera. Instead of the 13 MP sensor on its predecessor, the Galaxy A36 is rumored to feature a 12 MP sensor.
At first glance, this might seem like a downgrade, but according to leaks, the new sensor is expected to deliver a better selfie experience with improved technology. Additionally, the device is rumored to include an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5 MP macro sensor, although these details are not yet confirmed.
