Samsung introduced its new artificial intelligence, Galaxy AI, with advanced features at the Galaxy Unpacked event held in January. Galaxy AI, currently active only in the S24 series, will soon be rolled out to 2023 Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Tab S9. However, Galaxy AI features will vary from device to device. Here are the details…
Some Galaxy AI features won’t be available on certain devices
Artificial intelligence technology, introduced with features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Instant Slow-Mo, will become available on more devices with future updates. Unfortunately, some of the features coming with the upcoming update will not be supported on certain devices. Now, let’s take a look at the features and supported devices.
The latest artificial intelligence software developed by Samsung offers users dozens of advanced features. According to official announcements revealed today, with the release of the One UI 6.1 update starting on March 28th, AI features will be available on S23, Tab S9, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 models.
For example, the Galaxy S23 FE will not support the “Instant Slow-Mo” feature found in the Gallery application. With this feature, users can watch a video in slow-motion mode by long-pressing on it.
The ‘Photo Ambient Wallpaper’ feature will also not be rolled out to other Galaxy devices outside of the Galaxy S24 series. With this feature, users can see real-time weather conditions reflected in the wallpaper, but as mentioned, this feature will not be available on other devices.
