Samsung took the stage at the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event to unveil its latest foldable phone. The Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, and the next-generation Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic in the smartwatch segment set a new bar in the industry in terms of both design and performance.
What does the Galaxy Z Fold7 offer?
Samsung’s flagship foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, was introduced with the slogan “Ultra Unfolds,” and stood out as a device that exceeded expectations. Pushing the boundaries of foldable design and engineering, this model stands out with its thinness. The Z Fold7, the thinnest model in the Fold series to date, measures 8.9 mm when folded and 4.2 mm when unfolded.
This thinness, combined with the device’s 215-gram weight, makes it significantly lighter and more ergonomic than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (239 g), and even its rival, the iPhone 16 Pro Max (227 g).
The phone’s main display features an 8.0-inch QXGA+ resolution (2184×1968) Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. With a pixel density of 368 ppi and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, this display promises a premium experience, a signature Samsung feature.
