Galaxy S22 series gets One UI 7.0 update
One UI 7.0 version prepared for Galaxy S22 models includes innovations such as simplifications and more dynamic icons in the interface. However, it was learnt that some artificial intelligence-supported features offered under the Galaxy AI umbrella are not included in this series.

In particular, next-generation tools such as ‘Drawing Assist’ and ‘Now Brief’, introduced with Galaxy S25 Ultra, will not be integrated into S22 models. According to the test images, the Now Bar feature in One UI 7.0 will also be limited to only media playback function in Galaxy S22 models. This situation shows that the series faces some software limitations.
The general innovations coming with One UI 7.0 are listed as follows: smoother and more natural transition animations, a new double-page Quick Settings panel, a redesigned camera interface for one-handed use, and updated system application icons.
In addition, while the charging and screen lock opening animations are updated, visual changes such as large folder support, new widgets, battery icon improvements, an increase in blur effects and a pill-shaped taskbar will also be made
