Samsung achieved notable results with its Galaxy S24 series and next-generation foldable devices. However, while some models met expectations, others fell short. Here are the detailed sales figures…
Galaxy S24 series sees sales growth
The Galaxy S24 series demonstrated significant growth compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 models. According to shared data, Samsung sold 12.1 million Galaxy S24, 6.7 million Galaxy S24+, and 15.8 million Galaxy S24 Ultra units, reaching a total of 34.6 million units sold.
These figures are 5.2 million higher than the 29.4 million units sold by the Galaxy S23 series during the same period last year. Each Galaxy S24 model outperformed its predecessor, further cementing Samsung’s success in the flagship segment.
Samsung’s foldable device lineup, however, presented mixed results. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 sold 2.09 million units over five months, surpassing the Galaxy Z Fold 5’s 1.91 million units. Conversely, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 lagged behind its predecessor, with 2.81 million units sold compared to the Flip 5’s 3.3 million.
As Samsung prepares to introduce more significant innovations with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 series may not feature major changes. This raises questions about how Samsung’s future sales performance might be affected.
