Samsung’s 2025 flagship series, the Galaxy S25, has reached 3 million units sold in South Korea just weeks after its release. According to the company’s official announcement, the Galaxy S25 series has become the fastest-selling Samsung flagship model ever released. This achievement sets a new benchmark not only against the company’s past models but also for high-end phones with 5G support in general.
Galaxy S25 Series Achieves Sales Success
The Galaxy S25 series consists of three different models: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Of these three, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been the most popular model among users. The Ultra, notable for its high-end camera system, advanced AI-enabled features, and high-quality display, has become the flagship of the series. However, the Galaxy S25 Plus has seen the lowest sales figures in the series.

This success represents a significant performance in South Korea, Samsung’s home market. The company surpassed the sales figures of the Galaxy S24, the predecessor of the Galaxy S25 series, in just a few weeks. The Galaxy S24 series surpassed the same threshold two months later. This demonstrates that the Galaxy S25 series both met market expectations and achieved rapid consumer acceptance.
Samsung has demonstrated a successful performance not only with the Galaxy S25 series but also with the foldable phone models it launched during the same period. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, unveiled on July 9th, saw significant demand, particularly in the Asian market.
210,000 pre-orders were received in India within 48 hours, and in South Korea, it was announced that this model broke the foldable phone sales record for 2023. Samsung also announced a 50% increase in sales in the US compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
This rapid performance of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 demonstrates that Samsung is experiencing one of its strongest periods in the mobile device market in 2025. This activity, especially in the flagship segment, may cause year-end sales forecasts to be revised upwards.
