Rumors surrounding Samsung’s highly anticipated flagship, the Galaxy S26, are circulating. Recent rumors suggest a potential delay to the series’ launch date, while a brand new leak has revealed a critical hardware detail that will be included within the devices: a new Exynos-designed connectivity chip.
Exynos S6568 with Bluetooth 6.1 Support Coming
According to leaks from reliable sources, a new Samsung Exynos S6568 chipset has appeared on the Bluetooth certification authorized product list. This chip is described as a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi companion chip designed to support Bluetooth 6.1 and work in conjunction with an Exynos SoC.

While no other details about this connectivity chip are currently available, it’s widely believed that the Galaxy S26 series will utilize the S6568 companion chip. The new chip is expected to offer improved range and better energy efficiency.
As in previous years, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to feature a regional division of processors. Most regions are expected to use Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600 chipset.
In regions like the US and China, the series is expected to launch with a special edition Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. Leaks also suggest that the Galaxy S series’ traditional January launch may be altered, with the Galaxy S26 series launching in March 2026. This delay could be attributed to development or manufacturing challenges.
