Samsung’s new Galaxy S26 series is expected to consist of the S26 Pro, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra models. Rendered images have emerged showing the design details of the highly anticipated Galaxy S26 Edge. These images reveal the phone’s striking camera island design.
Galaxy S26 Edge design revealed
According to the images, the Galaxy S26 Edge features a larger camera island than previous Samsung models. The phone retains the dual-camera setup from the S25 Edge. However, it distinguishes itself significantly from its predecessor with a camera island design extending along the top. This design is reminiscent of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro.

The Galaxy S26 Edge, expected to replace the Galaxy S26 Plus, features a similar display with rounded corners, flat edges, and thin bezels. The front camera is housed in a punch-hole display. The device is reportedly thinner than its predecessor at 5.5 mm.
The maximum thickness, including the camera bump, is claimed to be 10.8 mm. It’s also rumored that the phone will support Qi2 wireless charging and feature built-in magnets.
The newly revealed images show that the front of the S26 Edge doesn’t differ significantly from its predecessor, the S25 Edge. However, the rear camera island completely changes the phone’s identity.
With this design, Samsung appears to have achieved a more unified look by consolidating the camera lenses into a single area. These leaks provide the first indication that Samsung is making a bold design change for the S26 series. It remains to be seen how this design will be received by users.
