Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series just got its biggest leak yet and it’s not about the phones themselves. A detailed look at the brand’s upcoming magnetic accessories suggests Samsung is gearing up for a stronger push into Qi2 wireless charging, and it’s doing it across the entire S26 lineup.
Galaxy S26 accessories add magnets and faster wireless charging

According to this early info, Samsung’s magnetic ecosystem won’t be limited to just the Galaxy S26 Ultra. All three flagships S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra are expected to support Qi2. That means better charging efficiency and, in the case of the Ultra, faster speeds. The Ultra reportedly supports 25 W wireless charging, up from the 15 W cap on last year’s models.
Samsung’s new magnetic tech isn’t just internal. Most first-party cases and chargers for the S26 family are said to include built-in magnets. This mirrors how Apple built out its MagSafe line and signals that Samsung wants a similar accessory ecosystem.
New Galaxy S26 accessories revealed ahead of launch
The leak, which surfaced through Roland Quandt and the Wireless Power Consortium, highlights a full set of magnetic gear:
- 25 W magnetic Qi2 wireless charger (model EP-P2900)
- Magnetic wireless battery pack
- Magnetic Clear, Carbon, Rugged, and Silicon cases
- Dual Magnet Ring Holder, exclusive to S26 Ultra
Samsung will tailor each case to all three S26 models, while it seems the company will reserve the ring holder for the Ultra, likely to pair with its Bluetooth-enabled S Pen.
Magnetic accessories aim for Qi2 dominance
The shift toward magnets aligns perfectly with Qi2’s requirements, especially since this next-gen standard benefits from exact coil alignment during charging. These accessories aren’t just cosmetic upgrades they’ll likely improve usability, stability, and even charging speeds.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra leads the magnetic pack
Not all models are equal in this rollout. While all three phones support Qi2, only the Ultra gets the full 25 W speed boost. It’s also the only one expected to offer the Dual Magnet Ring Holder, giving it a small but noticeable hardware edge.
Samsung may be playing the Apple game here reserving the flashiest extras for its most premium model.
February launch is shaping up fast
Leaks say the Galaxy S26 series will debut in late February 2026, with all models hitting shelves at once. By then, expect these magnetic accessories to be part of Samsung’s marketing push likely packaged as the next evolution of convenience and wireless tech.
The message is clear: the magnets are coming.
