With the launch of Samsung’s 2026 flagship Galaxy S26 series still months away, reliable tech leakster Ice Universe has shared a comprehensive list of claims revealing nearly every detail about the series’ most powerful model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The leaks suggest that Samsung is planning significant improvements in the camera, performance, and especially charging speed.
What will the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s specs be like?
According to the information shared, Samsung is focusing on thinness and lightness in its design. Despite the increased dimensions, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be a few grams lighter than its predecessor and a claimed thinness of approximately 7.5 mm. The device’s massive 6.9-inch display promises a major technological leap. Thanks to CoE (Color on Encapsulation) technology, which eliminates the polarizing layer, the display is said to be both brighter and more efficient, while a third-generation anti-reflective coating will maximize outdoor visibility.
Records are expected to be broken on the performance front. At the heart of the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, exclusive to the Galaxy series, which is said to reach jaw-dropping speeds of 4.74 GHz CPU and 1300 MHz GPU. The phone, which will ship with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box, will also offer built-in support for the popular artificial intelligence tool Perplexity AI, a key detail among the leaks.
The camera system will be another area where Samsung will continue to push its claims. The main camera will be an updated version of Samsung’s 2026 model 200-megapixel HP2 sensor. Additionally, a new ultra-wide-angle lens with a wider aperture, a new 3x telephoto sensor, and an improved 5x zoom camera with a wider aperture, specifically designed to improve low-light performance, are expected.
Regarding the battery, Samsung appears to be following a familiar strategy but making a significant upgrade. While the 5,000 mAh battery capacity, which has been standard since the Galaxy S20 Ultra, will remain, there’s a long-awaited update in the charging department: the device will reportedly offer 60W fast charging support, potentially closing the gap with its competitors.
