Samsung continues its tradition of 5,000mAh batteries in the S Ultra series, which began with the Galaxy S20 Ultra in 2020. Since then, all new devices in the series have featured the same capacity. Reliable industry source Ice Universe has shared the battery capacity of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which will be unveiled next year.
Galaxy S26 Ultra to Come with a 5,000mAh Battery
According to the source, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 5,000mAh battery, like its predecessors. Keeping the same battery capacity isn’t necessarily a negative, as with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which boasts a smaller battery than most of its competitors in the segment but offers an above-average battery experience.

Consequently, considering rumors that the upcoming model will feature a more efficient chipset, users are not expected to experience battery issues for at least another generation.
The brand will also be adjusting the model’s charging speeds. According to reports shared by Ice Universe, the S26 Ultra will likely feature charging speeds faster than 45W. However, there are no specific details yet. If these claims are true, the S26 Ultra could become Samsung’s fastest-charging phone to date, becoming the first model to break the 45W barrier.
So, what are your thoughts on this? Do you think the phone will meet expectations? Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments!
