Camera details for Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, have emerged. According to reports, the phone will offer significant improvements, particularly in low-light performance. According to a reliable leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, like its predecessor, features a quad-camera setup.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Offers Camera Improvements
The main camera in the new model features a 200MP sensor with an f/1.4 aperture. The ultra-wide camera is 50MP with an f/1.9 aperture. The telephoto camera has 12MP resolution, f/2.4 aperture, and 3x optical zoom. The super telephoto camera is 50MP with an f/2.9 aperture, and offers 5x optical zoom.

One of the most significant improvements in the Galaxy S26 Ultra compared to the S25 Ultra is the use of wider apertures in the main and super telephoto cameras. The wider aperture allows more light to reach the sensor, reducing noise and enhancing detail in photos. Rumors suggest the main camera captures 47% more light than the S25 Ultra, while the super-telephoto camera captures 38% more.
The new model’s 12MP telephoto camera also offers 20% higher resolution than the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 10MP telephoto camera. This means sharper and clearer photos. No hardware changes are expected for the front camera, but software improvements are said to improve photo quality.
