Samsung’s wearable devices, Galaxy Watch 5 series, are on the way. The smartwatches are expected to be revealed alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Buds Pro 2 at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. The latest leaks unveil the pricing and battery life of the upcoming smartwatches. Here are the details.
Galaxy Watch 5 pricing and battery life
Many leaks have emerged about the Galaxy Watch 5 series to date. There is still time for the launch, but the recent leak gives important details about the battery life and pricing of the smartwatches. According to Dealntech, the standard version will be $10 more cheap than the previous watch, while the Pro model is expected to be $30 more expensive than the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Meanwhile, the classic model will not be released this year, so it would be wrong to make a price comparison.
Ice Universe claims the Pro variant will be offer to users up to three days of battery life. Considering that previous models couldn’t reach the end of the day, this is a really good improvement. If this claim is true, the Galaxy Watch 5 series may beat the other Wear OS smartwatches on the market with battery life.
There is currently no official announcement, but the Galaxy Watch 5 could be equipped with a 572 mAh battery. The battery features of the standard model are not yet clear.
