As Samsung continues to prepare for the Galaxy Watch 8 series, images of the Classic model of the series have surfaced. According to leaks, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic moves away from the usual circular form and comes with a new design with more angular and flat edges. This new form resembles the “squircle” design of the Galaxy Watch Ultra model.
Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be available
It has been reported that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be released in only 47 mm size options. While multiple size alternatives were offered to the user in previous generations, it is noteworthy that this model has switched to a single option. While the Watch 4 Classic model came in 42 mm and 46 mm, the Watch 6 Classic was offered for sale in 43 mm and 47 mm sizes.

The body dimensions of the device will be 46 mm x 46.5 mm x 14.2 mm. Although the 1.5-inch screen remains similar in size to previous models, this time it is surrounded by a thicker frame. The render images clearly show the return of the rotating bezel. In addition, two physical buttons and an orange crown are among the striking details.
The battery capacity of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has been increased from 425 mAh in the previous generation to 435 mAh. The extent to which this increase will be reflected in practical use will be clarified with post-launch tests.
According to Samsung’s usual introduction schedule, the Galaxy Watch 8 series is expected to be introduced at the Unpacked event to be held in July, along with the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 models.
