As the Android smartphone market continues to expand, Samsung, one of the market leaders, is preparing to unveil its new models as it does every year. Recently, the Galaxy S25 series has been a topic of discussion, but it seems Samsung didn’t fully satisfy its users. Now, the camera features of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, expected to be introduced in the coming months, have been revealed. Here are the details.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 May Not Bring Significant Changes
Although Samsung aims to dominate the market with the Galaxy S25 series, the lack of innovation has left many users unimpressed. The device, now available for pre-order, will officially go on sale on February 7. Meanwhile, leaks about the foldable Z series continue to emerge. It appears the Z Flip 7 might face a similar lukewarm reception as the S25.

According to the leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel front camera, which seem to be identical to the Z Flip 6 model.
While the specific sensor details have not yet been disclosed, and it is unclear whether the sensors are identical, this approach from Samsung could deter many users from the new foldable models. Additionally, rumors suggest the new device might include a telephoto lens or an under-display camera.
It is also claimed that Samsung will carry over the software-based camera enhancements offered in the Galaxy S25 series to the Z Flip 7 model. The device is expected to launch with One UI 7. Considering that the Galaxy S25 Ultra only introduced minor camera improvements compared to its predecessor, a similar trend could continue with the new foldable model.
