After the introduction of the Magic V5 model, Honor is now working on a new generation Galaxy Z Flip 7 rival flip phone. The technical specifications of the model, which will be called Honor Magic V Flip 2, have been leaked.
What will the Honor Magic V Flip 2 offer?
Digital Chat Station, known for its leaks in the industry, shared new technical details about the upcoming Magic V Flip 2 model. Accordingly, the foldable phone will come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ resolution LTPO OLED main screen. There will be a 4-inch screen on the outer cover.

It is possible to say that the Magic V Flip 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series mid-to-upper segment chipset. Although the exact model is not yet clear, it is said that a processor positioned under the 8 Elite, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, will be used.
On the camera side, it is stated that the smartphone will come with a 50 Megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). This sensor is expected to be 1/1.5 inches in size. Although the details of the second camera are unknown, it is highly likely to be an ultra-wide-angle lens.
One of the most striking innovations is the battery capacity. According to the leak, the Magic V Flip 2 will come with a battery of approximately 5500 mAh. This value may be the highest capacity in its segment. For comparison, the first generation model has a capacity of 4800 mAh, while the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 model has a capacity of 5165 mAh. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to come with a 4300 mAh battery. The charging speed is expected to be 66W or 80W depending on the final configuration.
Honor has not yet made an official statement about the device. However, if the claims are true, the Magic V Flip 2 may be offered to users in August.
