Samsung’s latest introduction for its new foldable phone series quickly garnered a lot of attention with the term “Ultra”. However, this expression in the introduction is not a sign of a new upper segment model. It turned out that the company used this term as part of its marketing strategy.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra will not be released
Samsung’s emphasis on “an Ultra experience that is not just about upgraded features” in its press release led some users to expect a new device called “Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra” to be introduced.

However, recent leaks show that such a model is not planned. It is stated that the Fold 7 already offers an “Ultra level” experience with its high hardware features, but that this does not mean a separate model.
The models to be introduced at this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event will be the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. These three models were also included in the TKDN certificates. It is said that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be 3.9 mm thick when opened and 8.9 mm thick when folded; it will come with a 200-megapixel main camera and will have an 8.2-inch internal screen.
The device will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE models are expected to be equipped with Exynos processors. Both devices will have a larger cover screen. All three models are planned to be released with the Android 16-based One UI 8 operating system.
The exact date of the Galaxy Unpacked event where the products will be introduced has not been announced yet. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
