July has arrived and there are only days left for Samsung’s big event. Samsung is preparing to introduce its latest foldable phones and other devices with the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on July 9th. Galaxy Z Fold7 could be the world’s thinnest foldable phone
The Galaxy Z series will be the leading actor at the Unpacked event organized by Samsung, where many products will be introduced. According to the new leaks that have emerged on Weibo, the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 will have a thinner design than the previous series. In fact, the Z Fold7 is expected to have the thinnest design among book-shaped foldable phones.

According to the leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be 8.9 mm thin when folded and 4.2 mm thin when open. The device, which is claimed to have the same dimensions as the OPPO Find N5, seems certain to be among the thinnest.
In addition, the Z Fold7 is expected to be lighter at 215 grams compared to the Z Fold6, which weighs 239 grams. It is stated that Samsung will also make it more durable with its improved aluminum frame and glass ceramic back.
When we look at the features of the device, the Z Fold7, which is expected to come with a 6.5-inch outer and 8-inch inner screen, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. On the camera side, we will be greeted by a 200-megapixel main sensor.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is also switching to a thinner design. The device, which is expected to be 13.7 mm thin when folded and 6.5 mm thin when open, will have a 4.1-inch outer and 6.9-inch inner screen.
