GameSir has teamed up with AR glasses brand Rokid for a new special edition of the Nova 2 Lite controller. This variant, spotted online shortly after the Iron Man edition launch, sports a fresh silver-and-black look but you won’t find it on store shelves.
GameSir Nova 2 Lite gets a Rokid twist
Originally launched in Luminous White and Midnight Gray, the Nova 2 Lite has seen a handful of visual updates over the past few months. August brought the Champion Edition in gold, celebrating pro gamer Xiaom Hai’s victory at EWC 2025. Now, the new special edition features a silver faceplate, black thumbsticks and buttons, and dual branding from GameSir and Rokid.
The GameSir button has been replaced with Rokid’s logo, tying the design even more closely to the AR-focused partnership. Despite these aesthetic changes, the controller’s specs and layout remain identical to the standard Nova 2 Lite.
Unreal Engine 5.7 introduces Nanite Foliage, MegaLights, and visual upgrades that push real-time rendering closer to film-quality realism.
This Nova 2 Lite edition is not for sale
Unlike past editions, this version isn’t headed to retail. Instead, it’s part of a giveaway hosted jointly by GameSir and Rokid. According to a recent post on X, the grand prize includes:
- Rokid AR Spatial
- Nova 2 Lite Rokid Edition
Other prizes feature the Rokid Air AR glasses and the GameSir Cyclone 2 controller. The event appears designed to promote cross-compatibility between GameSir’s controllers and Rokid’s AR devices, a synergy that could appeal to mobile and XR gamers alike.
GameSir and Rokid highlight AR gaming compatibility
Beyond the design, this limited-edition controller highlights more than just visual flair. Importantly, the collaboration showcases how GameSir hardware integrates smoothly with Rokid’s spatial computing ecosystem. As AR gaming continues to gain momentum, both brands are clearly positioning themselves as early adopters, aiming to combine stylish hardware with seamless functionality for next-gen gaming experiences.
