A few weeks ago, Alejandro Otero was sitting at home watching a space documentary when he heard a strange rumble. When he went outside, he noticed something strange on his roof. Something had fallen from the sky and landed on Alejandro’s roof. But what was it? It weighed 2 kilograms and managed to damage every floor of his 2-story house.

Maybe it didn’t happen exactly like that. At least Alejandro was not at home at the time and hates space documentaries, but his son was. After the fragment fell, he immediately started watching the security cameras. A strange black object weighing 2 kilograms was falling through the air towards the roof of the house.

What happened on March 8 at around 14:34 local time was quite strange. An object weighing 2 kilograms had to have fallen from a very high altitude to cause so much damage. The first thing that comes to mind is that this piece could have broken off from an airplane, not from space.

But when the package was examined, it was realized that it was not a piece of an airplane. It was a cargo package planned by NASA to return to Earth in a “controlled manner”. Moreover, it contained dead (empty) batteries from the ISS. NASA has launched an investigation into the matter.
