Nvidia GeForce NOW is one of the best game streaming platforms like Xbox Cloud Gaming and Google Stadia. You can play PC games without having a computer. You need internet with performance; then you can use the game streaming service. GeForce Now can stream 1440P at 120 FPS through Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers.
GeForce NOW gets upgrade to stream higher quality
Nvidia released its RTX 3080 GeForce Now subscription tier last year. It offers up to 1440p resolution streams with 120fps on PCs and Macs or 4K HDR at 60fps on Nvidia’s app, Shield TV. You had to download the application to your computer to stream in this quality because the web version was limited to 1080p at 60fps. However, the company updated its RTX 3080 tier for the GeForce NOW web version. It now supports 1440p resolution and 120fps on the browser.
According to Nvidia, you can access the best PC games across nearly all devices, including low-powered PCs with a Chrome or Edge browser. It offers more than 1,300 titles in the GeForce NOW library. You need to be a GeForce Now RTX 3080 Member to use the higher resolution. This tier of the streaming service costs $19.99 per month.
There are also other affordable membership plans, including a free option. However, they don’t support the new 1440p gaming at 120 FPS feature. The company also adds new games to its library almost every week. For example, six games will come to the streaming service this week.
You can subscribe to the Nvidia GeForce NOW if you want to use the game streaming platform. Its RTX 3080 tier is available for $19.99 per month or a cheaper six-month membership for $99.99. When you sign up, you can log into the website using a supported browser. Then, you can choose the newly available resolution and frame rate in the Settings menu.
