Gigabyte has launched its new 27-inch gaming monitor, the MO27Q2. Using Samsung’s QD-OLED panel, the screen appeals to high-end gamers with its 2K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03 ms GtG response time. The device’s international sales price has been determined as $418.

The MO27Q2 offers 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, true 10-bit color depth, and up to 1000 nits of brightness. Its HDR performance is documented with the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. The monitor, which also has the VESA ClearMR 13000 certification that increases image clarity in fast-paced games, comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support.

The AI-supported OLED Care system has been integrated for the risk of burn-in, and the screen is offered with a 3-year burn-in protection warranty. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with 18W power, two USB-A 3.2 ports with KVM support, one USB-B upstream, and a headphone jack.
The device also features a physical “Tactical Switch” button that offers user profile management and a special emulation mode for FPS games. The monitor’s stand allows for height adjustment of up to 130 mm, tilt from -5° to +21°, ±20° swivel, and 90° clockwise pivot.
