Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, stars and executive producers of the hit series set in The Walking Dead universe, confirmed the start of filming for the new season in a video from the set. It turns out that the highly anticipated third season will be set in Madrid. However, filming will also take place in Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia.
David Zabel, executive producer of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, said of the anticipated new season: “As we await the show’s return for a new season, we are thrilled to be back on set with Norman, Melissa and this amazing cast, as well as the amazing local team in Spain whose experience and creative vision are key to bringing these landscapes to the world.
