The countdown for the M4-powered MacBook Air has begun. Just like its predecessors, the upcoming laptop will be available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Reliable industry sources have leaked its launch date. So, when will the M4 Air be introduced? Here are the details!
When Will the M4 MacBook Air Be Introduced?
According to reliable sources, including Mark Gurman, the upcoming M4-powered MacBook Air is set to be unveiled in March. Apple’s marketing, sales, and retail teams are reportedly making special preparations for this launch.

Another indication that the new Mac model will be introduced next month is the decreasing stock of its M2 and M3-powered predecessors. It is emphasized that Apple has not undertaken a large-scale stock replenishment, as it is gearing up to announce its new laptop.
The highly anticipated M4-powered MacBook Air has appeared in Geekbench performance tests. Reports so far suggest that the M4 Air won’t bring massive upgrades compared to its predecessor. However, Apple is expected to introduce some improvements, such as Thunderbolt 4 support and a new camera with Center Stage functionality. That said, there won’t be major design or technical overhauls.
Additionally, the upcoming Mac model recently surfaced in Geekbench tests. Scoring 54,806 points, the M4 Air achieved a significant performance boost over its predecessor, the M3 Air, which scored 41,045 points.
