Samsung, which continues the One UI 7 beta process at full speed, has not neglected to distribute patches to enhance user security. The South Korean brand recently released the December 2024 update for a popular mid-range model.
December 2024 Update Released for Galaxy S21 FE
The latest device to receive Samsung’s December 2024 update is the Galaxy S21 FE. The patch, with build numbers G990USQSEGXK3 and G990U2SQSCGXK3, is currently limited to models in the United States but will roll out to more countries in the coming days. Notably, it addresses over 45 security vulnerabilities.
If the update notification hasn’t appeared automatically on your device, you can manually upgrade by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update is still unavailable, it might not have reached your region yet, and you may need to wait a bit longer.
