It is very important to protect the battery health of the devices you use, regardless of whether it is a smartphone, tablet or smartwatch. For this reason, manufacturers are adding features that will delay battery wear, especially to new generation tablets and phones. It seems that Pixel Watch smartwatch owners will soon have a similar feature with the Wear OS 6 patch.
Google may bring a feature similar to Adaptive Charging to Pixel Watch watches with Wear OS 6
The Adaptive Charging feature on Google Pixel smartphones analyzes users’ charging habits and optimizes the charging process. For example, this function slowly charges the battery during overnight charges. Most of the time, it is set to charge to 100 percent 1 hour before unplugging your device.

This feature delays the wear of batteries over time due to the devices remaining fully charged for a long time. In addition, slow and controlled charging prevents the battery from overheating and can prevent potential dangers such as explosion. If you wish, you can manually disable this feature in a few steps. This means that your device will quickly charge to 100%.
According to Android Authority, a similar feature was spotted in the Google Wear OS 6 Developer Preview. Some code sequences in the ClockworkSysUiGoogle application show that the company is working on bringing this feature from Pixel phones to Pixel smartwatches.
However, for now, details such as how the feature will work, how much the smartwatches will charge, and when the charge will be fully completed are unfortunately not clear. Still, considering past leaks, we can say that it will have a similar logic to the Pixel phones.
Of course, there is another important detail here. Because not every feature detected in the developer preview versions may be in the stable version. For this reason, it would be better to approach this function with skepticism for now.
