Google has optimized the Gemini app, which was launched for iOS devices in November 2024, for iPads. Initially developed only for iPhone, the app only worked in compatibility mode on iPads. With the latest update, Gemini now offers full-screen support on this platform as well.
Google Gemini is coming to iPad this time
Gemini provides multitasking support to iPad users. In addition, the app can work in split-screen mode and can be used with other apps at the same time. Users can also add Gemini as a widget to the home screen and benefit from AI-supported visual analysis.

The new functions included in the application interface offer a wide range of uses, from text production to visual and video creation. While the Gemini Live feature provides instant communication with natural language processing capability in more than 45 languages; Deep Research accelerates information gathering and report preparation processes.
Audio Overview, on the other hand, summarizes content by interpreting audio files. Canvas also makes it possible to get support from AI in document and code production. In addition, users can produce visual and video content directly from the iPad.
Gemini’s standard version is available for free. However, advanced AI features can only be accessed with a Gemini Advanced subscription. The monthly subscription fee for the Advanced version in Turkey is 720 TL.
