The latest beta version of the Google app for Android contains a code string labeled “iris.” Additionally, it highlights that, besides saying “Hey Google” to summon the Google Assistant, people can long-press on the right temple to perform tasks.
Moreover, the code string is claimed to be related to Google’s “iris_device” feature, which could imply that it pertains to a hardware component produced by Google or, more broadly, smart glasses.
