With the Galaxy Unpacked event held on July 10th, Samsung introduced many new devices and features. Leading the event was the Galaxy Z Fold 6 model, with Google also announcing new optimizations for this model. The Galaxy Z Fold 6, introduced with Galaxy AI support, received application optimizations from Google. Here are the features Google has provided for the Z Fold 6…
Galaxy Z Fold 6 supports the Circle to Search feature.
Google’s advancements in artificial intelligence can be seen alongside the Z Fold 6 architecture. Official announcements confirm optimizations for Circle to Search, Gemini, and YouTube TV applications for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
With the Circle to Search feature, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 users can easily solve math and physics problems on the screen. Additionally, this feature can be used for barcode and QR scanning. With YouTube TV and Gemini support, users can split the screen to watch videos and ask Gemini questions about the video content.
Alongside the newly announced features, the Z Fold 6’s screen allows YouTube TV subscribers to view up to four videos. Although the videos will appear in a 2×2 grid, this feature is exclusive to the Z Fold 6 and can be used during live sports broadcasts. Of course, it may be introduced for other models in the near future.
Discussing other products introduced at the event, it’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are the first smartwatches to run on the Wear OS 5 operating system. This update offers longer battery life, a new watch interface, and enhanced media options.
