Google has announced a significant update expanding language support for its AI-powered note-taking and research tool, NotebookLM. Previously available only in English and generating significant interest, the highly acclaimed “Video Overviews” feature will now be available in 80 new languages, including Turkish. With this new feature, users can transform their notes and documents into Turkish video presentations in seconds.
Google NotebookLM now available in Turkish
Video Overviews, one of NotebookLM’s most striking features, automatically transforms users’ text-based notes, PDF files, and images into video presentations using AI. This feature saves significant time, eliminating the hours-long process of preparing a presentation, especially for students, academics, and business professionals. Now, Turkish content can take full advantage of this practical feature.
Google’s update isn’t limited to video features. The “Audio Overviews” feature, which can convert documents and notes to audio with a single click, has also received a comprehensive improvement. Previously only able to provide short summaries in languages other than English, this tool can now create much longer and more detailed audio content in 80 languages, including Turkish. This provides a richer experience for users who prefer to process information by listening.
With these updates, Google aims to make NotebookLM a more accessible and useful tool globally, eliminating language barriers and reaching a wider user base worldwide.
