A brand new feature is coming to the Google Photos app. The new feature called “Ask About Photo Content” allows users to ask questions about their photos in natural language. So now, you can chat with Google’s assistant about your photo. So how does the feature work? Here are the details…
Google Photos app gets new “Ask for Photo Content” feature
The feature is powered by Google’s Gemini AI model, which helps users find specific memories in their photo albums more easily. For example, when a user asks a question like “Where did we stay the last time we went to Eskişehir?” Google Photos scans your gallery and performs a detailed analysis. It then shows relevant photos in response to the question.
Similarly, you can access certain photos faster by asking questions like, “What did we eat at the hotel?” Your assistant brings you a list of the meals you ate at the hotel that day. In short, this feature puts an end to the confusion between your photos and the trouble of getting lost in them.
The feature, which is currently being tested only by Android and iOS users in the US , will be offered to a wider user base in the future. With this innovation, Google Photos plans to help users access their photo albums more quickly and easily. We can say that it is a blessing, especially for users with large photo collections.
