It is stated that the Pixel 9a will be released in four different color options: Obsidian, Porcelain, Peony, and Iris. We expect the device to be introduced on March 19 and to be available for pre-order on the same day. The release date is estimated to be March 26.
The Google Pixel 9a comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Tensor G4 processor developed with a 4 nm production process and 8 GB of RAM will be the main components that determine the performance of the phone. There is a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the back, while there is a 13 MP resolution punch-hole camera on the front.
The device will come with a 5100 mAh battery and will be resistant to water and dust thanks to the IP68 certification. It is said that there will be significant improvements in terms of battery and durability compared to the Pixel 8a model released last year.
The product will come out of the box with the Android 15 operating system and will receive software support up to Android 22. The model with 128 GB of storage is expected to be sold in the US for $499, while the 256 GB model is expected to be sold for $599.
