Will it meet expectations? Google Tensor G4 Geekbench score revealed
The leaked Geekbench screenshot shows that the new processor can reach a clock speed of 3.1GHz. The 8-core processor includes 4 efficiency cores clocked at 1.95GHz and 4 performance cores clocked at 2.6GHz. It is noted that the device will feature Mali G715 for its graphics interface.
The device powered by the Tensor G4 processor, with the model code Tokay, is speculated to be the Pixel 9 model. It is worth mentioning that the performance test was conducted using Geekbench 5 instead of the latest version, Geekbench 6.
According to the shared screenshot, the Google Pixel 9 model will offer an 8GB RAM option. It is speculated that the Pixel 9 Pro model will feature 12GB of RAM.
The FDA-approved temperature sensor of the Pixel 8 Pro, according to these visuals, will be included in both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. This is a rare case where Google’s experimental hardware features continue for more than one generation.
The Pixel 9 will feature a third rear camera for the first time, allowing all users to enjoy the benefits of a high-quality telephoto camera regardless of the size of the Pixel 9.
Several camera features rumored for the Pixel 8 were never announced at the Made by Google 2023 event. It is speculated that these features will be introduced with the Pixel 9.
One of the yet-to-be-announced features is called Video Unblur. The developed artificial intelligence-supported Video Unblur technology allows you to select a blurry video you captured and improve the focus quality retrospectively.
