It turns out that Google has been pressuring Ray-Ban for Gemini-supported glasses for a while. Google, which is currently collaborating on a new device in partnership with Qualcomm and Samsung, will introduce its new products in the middle of 2025. So, even if there is an agreement with Ray-Ban, it will take several years for the products in partnership with Ray-Ban and Google to be released.
However, leaks suggest that Ray-Ban’s agreement with Google is extremely unlikely. Although Google is committed to this matter, the cooperation of Meta and EssilorLuxottica companies, and perhaps their upcoming shareholding, will prevent this situation.
