An improved version of GTA 5 for PC has been released. Players have been waiting for this version, which brings improvements such as ray-tracing technology and faster loading times. However, the update got off to a rocky start for many users.
GTA 5 Enhanced version disappointed players
One of the biggest problems faced by players was the difficulties in transferring GTA 5 and GTA Online save files to the new version. Users who spent thousands of hours on the game encountered various error messages while trying to transfer their saves. They also had trouble maintaining their in-game progress.

It is thought that banned or flagged accounts in the past are at the root of these problems with save transfers. Players encountered this issue even when they claimed to have removed unauthorised modifications or cheats.
Rockstar confirmed this situation and stated that all players can transfer their records, but they should give time. Players wanting to experience the enhanced version overloaded Rockstar’s servers and caused connection issues.
Players who had previously downloaded GTA 5 for free on the Epic Games Store reported that they were unable to upgrade to the enhanced version at no additional cost. Beyond the save transfer and server issues, players also noted that GTA 5 Enhanced is missing some features.
Rockstar Games announced that it is taking the concerns seriously and will address these issues in the coming days. The company also stated that they are working to resolve the connection problems experienced in the GTA 5 Enhanced version.
