Amid economic uncertainty and the pandemic process, the release date for the GTA VI game has been postponed several times. However, the company has rolled up its sleeves for the game.
The GTA series, which has become a cult in the world of gaming, is eagerly awaited by its fans. The uncertainty continues regarding the release date of the game, which has been subject to numerous leaks before. Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar, gave an important clue about the game while announcing its annual earnings report.
GTA VI could debut in 2024
Take-Two, sharing its annual earnings report, looks to the future with hope with its statement. The company stated that the fiscal year 2025 will be a period of major rise for them. Considering that the Grand Theft Auto series has historically been Take-Two’s biggest source of money and taking into account the previous leaks, GTA VI could be released before the end of 2024.
The statement made by the company is as follows;
“As we look to the future, 2025 is an eagerly awaited year for our company. For the past few years, we have been preparing to launch an incredibly strong portfolio of projects that we believe will take our company to even higher levels of success. In 2025, we hope to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking projects that we believe will set new standards in our industry and achieve over 8 billion dollars in Net Reservations and over 1 billion dollars in Adjusted Unlimited Operating Cash Flow.”
The game has been subject to many leaks before. Last year, a 17-year-old hacker shared some test videos and images related to the GTA VI game. The leaked video and images show some information about the game. The leak suggests that there will be a return to Vice City and that one of the main characters will be female. Previous information says that the Rockstar team has been working on this project since about 2014 and has made the largest resource transfer to this project so far.
