Honor’s Magic 5 series, released in February, has achieved significant sales figures. While the Chinese brand wastes no time in working on the continuation models of the series, recent reports indicate that the Honor Magic 6 family will be introduced very soon.
Honor Magic 6’s launch date
The Honor Magic 6 has appeared in the 3C database with the model number BVL-AN00. Although the listing does not reveal any technical features of the phone other than supporting 66W charging speeds, it provides significant indications that the launch will take place in the near future.
According to information from sources close to the company, the Honor Magic 6 series is expected to be unveiled in January 2024. Initially, the smartphones will be available for sale in China, and shortly after, they will be introduced to users globally.
The series will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor. The processor, produced with 4 nm technology, includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The company includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support in the new chip.
Another detail about the models is their support for satellite connectivity. Additionally, it is mentioned that the series will offer some features such as low-power calling to users.
