Honor Magic 8 series crossed a milestone ahead of launch

The Honor Magic 8 series recently received 3C certification. So, what exactly does this development mean? Here are the details!

Last year, Honor launched the Honor Magic 7 series as one of the first Snapdragon 8 Elite phones. This year, a similar situation will occur with the launch of the Magic 8 series, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, in October. Recent developments indicate that the models have surpassed a significant threshold before their launch.

Two Honor phones, model numbers BKQ-AN00 and BKQ-AN80, have received 3C certification in China. A look at the listing reveals that the devices support 90W charging. These models are also said to belong to the Magic 8 series.

The Honor Magic 8 series will consist of multiple models: the Magic 8, Magic 8 Pro, Magic 8 Mini, and Magic 8 Ultra. The standard and Pro models are expected to feature 6.58-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays, respectively, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. These two devices will be released this year, while the Mini and Ultra versions will be unveiled next year.

The Magic 8 Mini is said to have a 6.3-inch display and the Dimensity 9500 chip. The Ultra model is said to be the world’s first phone to feature a dual 200-megapixel lens setup for the main camera and periscope telephoto camera.
