Honor will launch its new flagship series, the Magic 8, in mid-October. This date is a few weeks earlier than the Magic 7 series, which was introduced in late October last year and went on sale in early November.
Honor Magic 8 series to be launched in October
The Magic 8 series will consist of multiple models. Standard and Pro models are expected. The smaller, compact Magic 8 Mini and the powerful Magic 8 Ultra will go on sale in early 2026.

The Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro will feature 6.6-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays, respectively. Both phones will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. These models will also feature features such as wireless charging and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader.
The phones will come with larger batteries than the previous series. The Magic 8 Pro will feature a 7000mAh battery and 90W wired charging support.
The Magic 8 Mini, however, comes with a different hardware set. This model will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature a smaller 6.3-inch display and a thinner design.
The Magic 8 Ultra, the most powerful model in the series, will be equipped with dual 200-megapixel cameras: a main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens. This model will also use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and share some features with the Magic 8 Pro, such as charging and display technology.
