Honor Pad 9 launched in China starting at $223

In China, Honor held a launch event for its newest devices. The company launched the Honor 90 GT and its latest tablet, the Honor Pad 9. Honor’s newest affordable tablet comes with a lot of significant specifications, and it offers a mid-range performance. Honor Pad 9 is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC

One of the most significant specifications of the new tablet is its chipset. The company announced that the Honor Pad 9 gets its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which has 4x 2.2GHz A78, 4x 1.8GHz A55 Kryo CPU cores, and Adreno 710 GPU. Additionally, the new tablet has 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage options.

On the display side, the Honor Pad 9 features a 12.1-inch (2560 x 1600 pixels) WQXGA TFT LCD screen with a soft light matte screen. The display offers eye-protecting soft light matte screen to reduce the impact of light, sunlight, and other lighting.

Moreover, the new Honor tablet comes with the Magic Pencil 3 support, which magnetically charges when you place it on the top of the tablet. The Pad 9 is equipped with an 8,300mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
