Honor has added a new entry-level tablet to its product line, the Pad X7. The company’s existing products include the gaming-focused Pad GT 2 Pro and the mid-range Pad 10 tablets with a 12.1-inch display. In this context, the Pad X7 is a compact and budget-friendly option.
What does the Honor Pad X7 offer?
The Honor Pad X7 features an 8.7-inch TFT LCD (IPS) display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. This display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 625 nits in sunlight mode. The tablet boasts an 85% screen-to-body ratio, 16.7 million colors (8-bit color depth), NTSC color gamut coverage, a 180 PPI pixel density, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor using a 6-nanometer process, the model offers options for up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its memory can also be expanded via microSD card.
The tablet features an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus on the back. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus.
The device’s 7020 mAh lithium-ion battery (6900 mAh nominal) supports 10W wired charging and wired reverse charging. It runs Android 15 out of the box and has a metal back. The tablet weighs 365 grams and measures 211.8 mm x 124.8 mm x 7.99 mm. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Honor Pad X7 version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is available for €101. Although it is not yet clear whether the model will be available in the global market, it seems quite likely that it will meet users in a wider geography, as in previous models.
