Honor is reportedly working on smartphones with 10,000mAh batteries, a first for a mainstream mobile brand. According to information shared on Weibo by renowned leakster Digital Chat Station, this massive battery has successfully passed 3C certification in China. This development is seen as a major sign that the launch of the anticipated battery monster, the Honor Power 2, is approaching.
A New Era in Honor Battery Technology
According to the leakster, the Honor battery, which has passed 3C certification, has a nominal capacity of 9,886mAh (typically around 10,000mAh). If released, this device will set a new benchmark for battery capacity in a mainstream smartphone.

Digital Chat Station claims that Honor is working on several mid-range phones for the Chinese market that will feature this massive battery. These three models are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and Dimensity 8500 chipsets, respectively. The model expected to feature the Dimensity 8500 is expected to be the second member of the series, the Honor Power 2. The device is expected to be unveiled in China in the first quarter of 2026.
The Honor Power 2 is expected to stand out not only for its battery capacity but also for its slim design. It is expected to feature a 6.79-inch LTPS OLED display panel supporting 1.5K resolution.
Despite this massive battery, the phone is said to have a body approximately 8mm thin. This demonstrates Honor’s efficiency in battery technology. Leaked information also suggests that the device will feature an under-display optical fingerprint sensor and a drop-resistant design.
