Honor has made a last-minute branding change for its upcoming mid-range phone. Previously expected to be the Honor GT 2, the model will now be called the Honor Win smartphone, according to recent reports. Prior to the launch, the first renders of the Honor Win have surfaced online, revealing several notable features.
Horizontal Camera Module and WIN Emphasis
The renders show the Honor Win in Black, Blue, and Cyan color options. On the back, there’s a horizontal matrix-style camera module housing three cameras. This design extends across the entire width of the phone and reaches the edge, similar to how recent iPhone models integrate their camera islands. The module also features an LED flash and a prominent “WIN” branding.

More interesting, or rather unusual, is the active cooling fan located in a cutout that visually integrates with the camera module. Active cooling fans are still a rare feature outside of gaming phones, suggesting Honor will position its Win series as a performance-focused device rather than a typical flagship.
Leaks are also quite promising regarding the internal hardware:
- Processor: It is suggested that the Honor Win series could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform. The chip is said to use a 2+6 core architecture with two super-large cores boasting a high clock speed of 4.6 GHz.
- Display and Build: The phone is expected to have a 6.83-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a metal frame. Honor may also add features such as 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and high water resistance (likely IP68).
- Camera and Charging: In terms of cameras, the Honor Win is expected to use a large 50 MP main camera and offer charging speeds up to 100W fast charging.
- Battery Rumor: Perhaps the wildest claim is that it could come with a 10,000 mAh battery, which would be enormous for a phone in this class.
Although the Honor Win hasn’t been officially announced yet, these leaks suggest the device will be a noteworthy player in the mid/upper segment in terms of both design and specifications.
