Microsoft forces Windows 11 users to create an online Microsoft account after installation. The company, which does not offer the option to create a local account in new installations, directs users to use an online account. However, it is possible to overcome this obstacle with certain commands.
It is now possible to install Windows 11 without opening a Microsoft account
Pressing Shift + F10 on the region selection screen during the Windows 11 installation process to open the command prompt and then entering the “start ms-cxh:localonly” command allows you to bypass Microsoft account verification.

This command also allows you to create a local account by entering a username and password without connecting to Microsoft’s servers. After the account is created, it becomes possible to use Windows 11 with an offline account by pressing the “Next” button.
Microsoft previously prevented such attempts with the “bypassnro” command, and similar methods may be disabled over time. However, if this command becomes invalid, a different method can be applied via the Registry Editor.
During installation, when you press Shift + F10 on the Microsoft Account screen and enter the “regedit” command, the Registry Editor will open.
From here, going to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OOBE directory and changing the value of the “HideOnlineAccountScreens” key to 1 hides the online account login screen and allows the creation of a local account.
In addition to business accounts, individual users can also use Windows 11 with an offline account by using these settings. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
