Huawei has launched the Huawei Band 9, the latest addition to its fitness bracelets. Building on the success of previous models, the Band 9 aims to offer users a lightweight and affordable alternative.
What does Huawei Band 9 offer?
The Band 9 retains the rectangular touchscreen design of its predecessors. But it comes with a larger 1.47-inch AMOLED display. It also weighs just 14 grams and is 8.9 mm thin.
Huawei says it is water resistant up to 5 ATM pressure. In this context, users can wear it during swimming and pool activities.
Band 9 supports more than 100 exercise modes for health and exercise tracking. It also includes Huawei TruSleep 4.0 for detailed sleep tracking and analysis.
It promises up to 14 days of use on a single charge or up to 9 days of battery life with intensive use. The included magnetic charger can recharge the battery in less than 1 hour.
Pairing with the Huawei Health app on Android and iOS devices, the bracelet can connect via Bluetooth 5.3. Users can view their activity, sleep, heart rate and other health data through the app.
Huawei Band 9 will be available in 5 color options: Electric Blue, Light Pink, Lemon Yellow, Sand White and Star Black. It will reportedly be available in various Asian markets, but official pricing has not yet been announced.
