Huawei is likely to be the envy of big tech companies with its last quarter’s revenue. The company saw a huge increase in earnings thanks to growth in 5G, automotive and smartphone technologies. The company, which finally started to recover after the US sanctions, exceeded expectations in the first quarter profit of 2024. Accordingly, it reported a 564 percent profit in the quarter.
Huawei net profit grew 564 percent, here are the revenues
According to the statement made by Huawei, the technology giant’s net profit in the January-March period reached 2.71 billion dollars, up 564 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the same period, company revenue increased by 37 percent to $ 24.5 billion.
This increase came after successful results in many product ranges. Huawei managed to exceed expectations for 5G network equipment and 5G devices. On the other hand, with smartphone sales increasing by 70 percent, it became the second best-selling brand in China.
Huawei is also making progress in new sectors such as car technology. At the Beijing Auto Show in April, the company announced that it is developing an autonomous driving system with seven Chinese automakers.
In addition, Huawei will hold an event in Dubai on May 7. The MateBook, MatePad and wearable devices, which have previously come to the fore with leaks, are expected to be introduced in the global market.
In the post made by the company, attention was drawn to wearable technologies, MateBook and MatePad series. No images of the new products were shared, but multiple models are expected to be introduced. It is unlikely that the Pura 70 series will come globally.
