Huawei continues its claim in the foldable phone market with the Huawei Mate X6 model.
Huawei Mate X6 review!
Huawei Mate X6 offers an aesthetic appearance with its space-age orbital camera frame and vegan leather coating. Thanks to the Glass 2 technology of the arm, the screen is 25 times more durable, and the hinge system promises long-lasting use. It provides water resistance up to 2 meters with IPX8 certification.
Mate X6 comes with a 7.9-inch OLED inner screen (2400×2240) and a 6.45-inch OLED outer screen (1080×2400). Thanks to the 1-120 Hz LTPO refresh rate, 1800 nit inner screen and 2500 nit outer screen brightness, a clear image is provided in every environment. HDR Vivid technology and Huawei X-True technology offer vivid colors and high contrast.
The device is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 9020 processor. Offering top-level performance with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, the Mate X6 does not support external memory. The 5110 mAh battery provides long-term use with 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging features. The lack of 5G support is one of the notable disadvantages.
The camera capabilities of the Huawei Mate X6 are quite ambitious. The 50 MP main camera, 10-stage physical aperture (f/1.4 – f/4.0) and OIS support provide excellent shots in low light. The 48 MP telephoto macro camera (4x optical zoom), 40 MP ultra-wide angle camera and Ultra Chroma xMatch technology offer high color accuracy. The device can record 4K video and allows the rear cameras to be used as selfie cameras.
The Mate X6, which comes with the EMUI 15.0 operating system, offers innovative features such as running three applications at the same time, Air Hops fun screen interactions and smart control button. AI-powered MESMA screen hiding increases security by hiding notifications when someone else looks at the screen. Noise cancellation technology ensures clear voice transmission during phone calls.
